Young Reporters of St Augustines CE High School2

BBC Young Reporter is an exciting opportunity for young people to get involved with the BBC.

Our students have the chance to tell the stories that matter to you.

BBC Young Reporter (formerly School Report) works in partnership with schools, colleges, youth organisations and charities to provide young people with the skills they need to create and understand the media.

Schools and organisations taking part will benefit from access to exclusive events, training and resources, as well as mentoring and career talks from BBC staff and journalists.

We have had BBC journalist Hanna Gelbart work alongside our students on how to recognise ‘fake news’

The project is backed by the likes of Huw Edwards, Tina Daheley, Greg James, The One Show's Alex Jones, BBC Newsbeat's Roisin Hastie and Ben Mundy and Newsround's Ricky Boleto.

St Augustine’s Federated school has been a part of the BBC Young Reporters for a few years and Young Reporters have had their news stories published on the BBC.
