Dear Parents/Carers,
Last Day of Term
Please be aware that our last school day is Friday 5th April 2019 and is a non-uniform day.
Church Service & Assembly
Students will attend church in the morning for Passiontide Service, the Headteacher’s assembly, and will then have an extended morning break. Students will be dismissed from 12:15pm.
Lessons and revision will still be happening to allow them students as much learning time as possible before the upcoming exam season.
Friday 05th April is a non-uniform day for studentsand we are asking for a £1 donation towards this term’s charity, Christian Aid, and their Lent project in support of positive action on Climate change in developing countries.
Students return to school on Tuesday 23rd April 2019 at 8:45am.
This is a good opportunity to remind you that next term is a crucial time in the school year as it is the start of the formal external exams for KS4 and 6th Form. The first external exam is on Monday 13th May. Students should be spending their holidays revising and support from parents and carers is vital in ensuring their child is making the most of their time revising at home or in school at our holiday revision sessions. Please ask to see your child’s timetable for revision over the Easter holidays.
Please note, students must attend their exams in full school uniform.
Finally, I would like to remind you of the following key dates:
Please check the school term dates for next academic year before making any holiday plans. This is available on the school website
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support and wish you all a very happy Easter break!
Regards
Eugene Moriarty
