Important Coronavirus update

Dear Parents/Carers
We would like to draw your attention to the Government’s announcement yesterday advising those who are at increased risk of severe illness from coronavirus, to follow protective measures. The high-risk group includes students with underlying health conditions.

We understand that this may be a concern for parents and students with medical conditions, however we will continue to support students as instructed by their individual healthcare plans, and will refer to the guidance on social distancing on an individual case by case basis. In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s medical condition, please contact your child’s medical specialist or consultant for further information.

Government Information

The new guidance states that individuals will be asked to self-isolate for 7 days from the onset of COVID-19 symptoms, but any individuals in your household will now be asked to self-isolate for 14 days from that moment as well.
