Congratulations to all of our Year 11 students who have produced some outstanding GCSE results this academic year. We have enjoyed success in a number of different subjects and are extremely proud of the level of achievement both from the entire year group and many individual students. Overall, our Attainment across 8 subjects has improved to 4.93 this academic year. We have also experienced increases in the number of the highest GCSE grades (Grade 9-7) and strong passes (Grade 9-5).
• The number of students achieving a Grade 9-7 in English and Maths has increased to 17%.
• The number of students achieving a Grade 9-7 in English increased to 30%
• The number of students achieving a Grade 9-7 in Maths increased to 25%
• The number of students achieving a Grade 9-5 in English and Maths has increased to 53%
• The number of students achieving a Grade 9-5 in English remained consistently high at 67%
• The number of students achieving a Grade 9-5 in Maths increased to 60%
The number of students achieving a Grade 99-77 for Combined Science has doubled compared with last academic year and the number of students achieving a Grade 99-55 for combined science also increased to 56%. The students studying separate sciences also excelled, with 77.5% achieving a Grade 9-5 in GCSE Physics, 85% a Grade 9-5 in GCSE Biology and 97.5% a Grade 9-5 in GCSE Chemistry.
We are so proud of all of our students achievements, with a record 46 x Grade 9’s being awarded to students this academic year. The students and staff have worked tirelessly together this academic year to ensure the students achieve the best possible results. We are absolutely delighted with the number of students returning to study A Levels in our 6th Form and wish all our students the best of luck in the future.
