St Augustine’s Year 11 Students reach 300!

Posted: 30th August 2023

Despite the National picture of this year’s GCSE exam results predicted to be much lower than 2019, St Augustine’s Year 11 students have worked hard and shown that with determination and resilience, our students can achieve and produce exam results to be proud of. Our Year 11 students achieved a total of 300 Grade 9, 8 and 7’s this summer!

Rachel Kelly, Head of St Augustine’s High School said “I am very proud of the Year 11 students and everything they have achieved. This is a very special cohort, who have pulled together, supported each other and when times have been tough, they have shown real determination and resilience. There have been some outstanding individual performances, but the whole year group should be proud of how far they have come.”

A number of our Year 11 students achieved the very top grades in their subjects, which was an amazing achievement and a credit to their perseverance to do well.
